Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong is a registered charity that is committed to providing far-reaching orchestral training for young musicians. Pro Arte’s scholarship recipient musicians have been accepted into professional orchestras across four continents, including London Symphony Orchestra, Houston Grand Opera, Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and many others in Asia and Hong Kong. Thanks to the support of a number of reputable music schools, our musicians have been admitted to The Juilliard School, the Indiana University Jacob School of Music, Royal Academy of Music (UK), Royal College of Music and Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris (France) in multiple years. Pro Arte's members have also performed extensively overseas at music festivals such as the renowned Tanglewood Music Festival, Aspen Music Festival, The Pacific Music Festival and Youtube Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Grammy Award-winning conductor Michael Tilson Thomas. Covering a wide range of nationalities, our members come from Korea, the United States, Italy, Japan, Canada, and Hong Kong.
